About

I’m Sarah Lemons, a sexuality educator and counselor based in Eastern Massachusetts. Like many individuals I bounced from one interest to another when I was a college student. My interest was peaked by a psychology class during my time as an undergrad and I decided that I wanted to be a counselor. Sexuality and the way we interact intimately with each other is something  I have always been interested in, and when I knew I could combine the two, I found the goal in my education!

During my internship I used Planned Parenthood’s curriculum to teach a sexuality educational group for teenage girls and discovered a love for teaching. I’m interested in taking this type of comprehensive education and bringing it to more individuals within the community.

In regards to my educational background, I began studying psychology at Ball State University in Indiana and received my Bachelor of Science in 2007. In the spring of 2011 I received my Master of the Arts in Psychology and Counseling with a concentration on Sexual Orientations through Goddard College in Vermont. I am currently working toward fulfilling the requirements to be licensed as a mental health counselor in Massachusetts. In my training to become a Sexuality Educator I completed Planned Parenthood’s Certification in September of 2010.
